TALKING CIRCLE NO.2

19″ x 24″ ⁄ collage on paper ⁄ July 2011

The purpose of a talking circle is for the participants to openly and honestly share problems, concerns, and ideas around a particular subject. A participant can only speak when he or she holds the talking stick or feather or whatever the group is using. Participants should display active listening while the speaker is speaking. The group is seated in a circle so that everyone can see one another's faces. What topics would you suggest for a talking circle?
